Why ACTAN SanctionsCheck was built
SanctionsCheck was not created as a marketing idea. It grew out of a real regulatory need in the day-to-day work of a regulated financial services environment. From that starting point, ACTAN developed an independent RegTech solution for sanctions screening that is traceable, audit-ready and practical to use.
Built from real operational need
ACTAN comes from a regulated environment where sanctions screening is not a theoretical exercise, but an operational requirement. In day-to-day practice, it became clear how time-consuming, error-prone and difficult to document these checks can be without the right tools. That is why the development of SanctionsCheck began: as a pragmatic solution for organisations that need to meet regulatory requirements properly, without complex integration projects and without unnecessary IT overhead.
